Eligibility Criteria:
Age Limit:
Maximum 50 years as on 23/04/2025, as per Matriculation/Discharge Certificate.
Educational Qualifications:
(1) Matriculation (SSLC/10th Standard) plus two-year ITI in Electrician, Instrument Mechanic, Electronics Mechanics, Wireman, Fitter, Mechanic Computer Hardware, Mechanic – Industrial Electronics, Information Technology & Electronics System Maintenance, Mech. Communication Equipment Maintenance, or Mechanic Mechatronics, or equivalent NCVT/NCTVT/NAC certification from defense services.
(2) Certificates must include percentage of marks or grade, verified by Zilla Sainik Board, Bengaluru.
(3) Serving military personnel retiring by 31/05/2025 may apply.
(4) Ex-military personnel discharged on medical or disciplinary grounds are not eligible.
Additional Requirements:
(1) Knowledge of Kannada is essential.
(2) Character Certificate (not older than 3 months) from Defense Establishment/ Educational Institution/ Gazetted Officer required.
Selection Process:
Shortlisting based on merit in written examination (100 marks: General Knowledge – 30, Reasoning and Analytics – 30, Tech Proficiency – 40; 120 minutes, negative marking of 1/4 per wrong answer).
Shortlisted candidates will undergo an interview, medical fitness test (vision, ENT, blood sugar, etc.), and document verification.
Written test conducted by Zilla Sainik Board, Bengaluru, in June 2025 (date, time, and venue via email/SMS/website).
