FSL Junior Scientific Assistant Recruitment 2025 Walk in Interview for 37 Posts

Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL), Home Department, Government of NCT of Delhi, invites applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of Junior Scientific Assistant (JSA) posts on a one-year contractual basis. The recruitment is for various divisions, including Biology, Cyber Forensic, Documents, Photo, Physics, and HRD/QC, with a total of 37 vacancies. The last date for submission of applications is 28th May 2025, with walk-in interviews scheduled for June 2025.

FSL JSA Vacancy 2025: List

Age Limit:

Below 27 years as on 28/05/2025. Age relaxations applicable for SC/ST/OBC/EWS candidates as per Government of NCT of Delhi rules.

Eligibility Criteria:

Junior Scientific Assistant (Biology): Master’s degree in Zoology, Botany, Microbiology, Anthropology, Biology, Human Biology, Life Science, Biochemistry, Genetics, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or Forensic Science with Zoology or Botany as a subject in B.Sc. (all three years), OR B.E./B.Tech in Biotechnology from a recognized university.

Junior Scientific Assistant (Cyber Forensic): Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Application, Information Technology, Physics (with Electronics/Cyber Security specialization), OR B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or Electricals & Electronics Engineering from a recognized university/institute.

Junior Scientific Assistant (Documents): Master’s degree in Physics, Chemistry, or Forensic Science with Physics or Chemistry studied for at least two years/four semesters at B.Sc. level from a recognized university/institute.

Junior Scientific Assistant (Photo): Master’s degree in Physics, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, Forensic Science, OR B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence from a recognized university.

Junior Scientific Assistant (Physics): Master’s degree in Physics or Forensic Science with Physics as a subject at B.Sc. level from a recognized university.

Junior Scientific Assistant (HRD/QC): Master’s degree in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Forensic Science, Psychology, Toxicology, Biotechnology, Genetics, OR two-year PG Diploma in Russian Administration/Management (HR specialization), OR MCA, OR B.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics, IT, ECE, or Instrumentation from a recognized university.

Selection Process:

Walk-in Interview. Shortlisted candidates will be listed on the FSL official website.
Interviews scheduled for 14/06/2025 (Biology) and 16/06/2025 (Cyber Forensic). Other posts’ dates to be notified.

How to Apply for FSL JSA Recruitment 2025:

➢ Eligible candidates must submit a duly filled application form either physically or by post to: Principal Director, Forensic Science Laboratory, Sector-14, Rohini, Delhi-110085 by 28/05/2025 (6:00 PM).
➢ Separate applications are required for each post, with the envelope superscribed “Application for the post of Junior Scientific Assistant (name of Division).”
➢ Attach self-attested photocopies of educational qualifications, category certificates, experience (if any), and ID proof (Driving License, Voter ID, Aadhaar, Bank Passbook with photo, Passport, etc.).
➢ Bring original documents and ID proof for verification at the walk-in interview.
