SECR Cultural Quota Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limit (as on 01/07/2025):

18 to 30 years (born between 02/07/1995 and 01/07/2007 for UR; 02/07/1992 for OBC; 02/07/1990 for SC/ST). Age relaxation: 3 years for OBC, 5 years for SC/ST, 10 years for UR PwD, 13 years for OBC PwD, 15 years for SC/ST PwD, up to 40 years for UR widows/divorced women, 43 years for OBC, 45 years for SC/ST, and specific relaxations for ex-servicemen and railway employees.

Educational Qualifications:

(1) Non-Technical Posts: 12th (+2 stage) or equivalent with minimum 50% marks (not required for SC/ST/PwD/Ex-Servicemen or candidates with higher qualifications like Graduation/Post Graduation).
(2) Technical Posts: Matriculation + Course Completed Act Apprentices/ITI pass in trades approved by NCVT/SCVT for Artisans in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, and S&T departments. No other qualifications, including Diploma in Engineering, accepted.
(3) Desirable: Experience in Folk Dance/Drama, performances on AIR/Doordarshan, or prizes won at the national level.

SECR Cultural Quota Selection Process:

Written Test: 50 marks (objective-type MCQs on General Knowledge, Arithmetic, and Cultural subjects; 40% qualifying marks required).
Practical Demonstration: 35 marks (assessment of talent in Folk Dance/Drama).
Testimonials/Prizes: 15 marks (based on certificates in relevant discipline).
Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates must produce required certificates (e.g., caste, educational, cultural qualifications).
Medical Examination: Candidates must pass the prescribed medical exam.

SECR Cultural Quota Application Fee:
